The cowboys are back on Red Oak Victory! Enjoy live Western Swing music by Aaron Burnham and the Brushfires with your breakfast!

The breakfast we sponsored last July featuring Western Swing music was so popular that we're bringing it back this year on August 9. Once again featuring live music by the popular Aaron Burnham and the Brushfires. If you're not familiar with it, Western Swing is a blend of swing, country-western, and jazz and provides great music to dance to. Western Swing fans often dress the part of classic Hollywood cowboys and therefore part of our breakfast event will be a Western Swing Costume Contest! (If you need ideas just Google 1940s-50s Western Swing outfits.) Or if you just want to come in your usual casual weekend wear, you are also welcome!

As usual, you will enjoy freshly made pancakes, sausage, bacon, and scrambled eggs accompanied by apple slices, coffee and orange juice. And Mimosas are available for our adult patrons for an extra fee. You can then tour the Red Oak Victory historic ship and work off some of those extra calories. Also, as always, the radio room will be in operation to send free Radiograms to friends and loved ones anywhere in the world.

Your breakfast is only $20 (plus $3.18 ticketing fee) for adults and $5 (plus $2.18 ticketing fee) for children 8 and under. Breakfast service begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. As an added bonus, a limited number of same-day tours of the ship are available at a discounted rate with your breakfast purchase. Red Oak Victory is ideally situated for panoramic views of the entire San Francisco Bay and adjacent cities. After breakfast, enjoy a tour of the ship or just sit, chat with new friends, and enjoy the view. Breakfast ends at 12:30 PM but the ship remains open for our guests until 4:00 PM.

Aaron Burnham and The Brushfires are popular performers among the Western Swing crowd in the San Francisco Bay Area and also have several albums to their credit.

Announcing our Third Thursday Summer Movie Schedule

The Red Oak Victory Summer Movie series will be held on the third Thursday of both July and August.

July 16: Swing Shift featuring Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell

August 20: Raiders of the Lost Ark featuring Harrison Ford

Doors open at 6:00 pm for both films. No reservations or tickets are reqiured, however, we appreciate a $10 per person donation. Popcorn, softdrink, beer, wine and snacks available for sale during the show.

Dance: Join us where the trail meets the deep blue sea! Marquis Howell and His Wandering Wranglers are coming aboard the SS Red Oak Victory Museum Ship. Our Deck Dust-Up brings a hard-driving, vintage brand of the Western Frontier right to the water's edge—merging mid-century maritime history with classic Western swagger for an evening that is part campfire sing-along and part dancehall crooner.

Band: The outfit is spearheaded by bassist, vocalist, and veteran showman Marquis Howell. Mr. Howell is no stranger to high-stakes showmanship, having spent years sharpening his musical chops and wrangling crowds in the manicured wilderness of Anaheim's premier mid-century frontier territory. Bringing his masterclass in atmospheric entertainment to the real world—untamed and entirely authentic—the Wranglers deliver retro rhythm & blues from the Western Frontier, delivered with high-energy, mid-century showman swagger.

Come for the historic sunset over Richmond Inner Harbor, stay for the frontier rhythm, and kick up some dust on the wooden decks of a genuine Victory ship.
