Red Oak Victory is the last surviving ship built in Richmond’s Kaiser Shipyards and one of only three surviving Victory ships in the world. Every gift helps care for this historic ship and share the stories of the shipyard workers, home front communities and sailors who made her history possible.

Caring for a historic ship is a year-round job. There is always equipment to maintain, a space to restore or a repair that needs attention.
Our volunteers bring their skills and time to that work. Your donation helps support their efforts and the ongoing operation of Red Oak Victory as a museum ship.

Legacy gifts and IRA giving
Help care for Red Oak Victory beyond your lifetime by including the museum in your will or estate plan, or naming it as a beneficiary of your IRA or other retirement account.
You may also be able to give through your IRA during your lifetime. If you are age 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows eligible gifts to go directly from your IRA to a qualified charity. Ask your IRA administrator or tax advisor whether this option is appropriate for you.
