Detailed directions between I-580 and Red Oak Victory
From I-580, go South on Canal Blvd. and continue straight through a traffic light at Cutting Blvd. You’ll cross a set of railroad tracks.
In 0.7 miles you will come to a stop sign at Seacliff. Continue straight ahead through this stop and through another that’s about 0.3 miles from the first one.
Just before the second stop you’ll pass under an archway marked “Point Potrero”. This is also where you’ll see the first signs for the Red Oak Victory.
In another 0.2 miles you’ll see signs for the Red Oak Victory pointing to the right. Follow the oblique right at this point. (If you go straight at this point you will encounter a locked/guarded gate for the port.)
On your left, behind a chain link fence, there will be a huge parking lot full of cars. Drive all the way around this parking lot (see the map).
There are three stop signs on this loop road, the first one at 0.6 miles from where you turned right, the second one at 0.5 miles after the first. At the second stop you should be able to see the ship (it’s a big gray thing sitting in the water).
After another 0.3 miles or so you’ll come to the final stop sign and after you go through that, turn into the parking area for the ship which will be on your right.
